School Tour Video
At Mississippi Creative Arts School, we focus on student learning through the arts. Students experience visual arts, music, dance and drama through the day, and arts are integrated in the core content areas of math, writing, reading and science.

Students participate in artist residencies, citywide performances, and visits to local theaters and museums.

Our teachers receive training through The Kennedy Center to support our arts instruction and programming.

After-school and recreational opportunities are available in our building and at McDonough Recreation Center, which is just a short walk away.

We offer:

  • PreK (full day)
  • Discovery Club (fee-based, off-site)
  • Language Academy
  • Extended Day for Learning (EDL)
