• Maxfield has served the children and families of the Rondo Community for more than 130 years.
• New for the 2023-23 school year, Maxfield will be a Collaborative Learning School in partnership with the University of St. Thomas. Student teachers will join us in our mission to create joyful and equitable learning environments.
• Each student has weekly African drumming class in addition to art, physical education, global studies and science specialists.
• A full MakerSpace including the use of 3D printers, sewing, coding and many more enrichment opportunities.
• Strong community partnerships, including our newest partnership with the University of St. Thomas on a Collaborative Learning School, leadership camp through the YMCA and family navigation support through the Saint Paul Promise Neighborhood.
• We continue our work as a restorative practices school.
• We are an elementary AVID site.
• Uniforms are required.
