At Maxfield Elementary, we have served children and families of the Rondo Community for more than 130 years.

 

This is Maxfield’s second year as a Collaborative Learning School in partnership with the University of St. Thomas. Student teachers join us in our mission to create joyful and equitable learning environments.

 

Each student has a weekly rotation of music, physical education, and science specialists. In addition we partner with St. Paul Promise Neighborhood to provide artists in residencies at different grade levels.

 

Maxfield has a full MakerSpace, including the use of two 3D printers, sewing, coding and many more enrichment activities.
