Everyone can find a place to learn and grow at Johnson Senior High School. Our school is home to the district’s Aerospace and Engineering magnet program, which attracts students from all corners of Saint Paul. Johnson is a certified “Project Lead the Way” school where students can choose from six different pre-engineering classes that offer college credit, as well as a broad range of Advanced Placement and College in the Schools courses. Johnson offers students multiple ways to follow their interests, including more than 40 clubs and organizations, 25 athletic teams, and one of the state’s most active and innovative student leadership programs. For graduation all Johnson students complete a senior project that demonstrates they can write well, speak confidently, and successfully manage a major project. We are proud of our community and business partnerships, notably with 3M, HiWay Federal Credit Union, Saint Paul College and the University of Minnesota. Johnson strives to ensure that every student has a plan and is ready for life after high school.

Please Note: Johnson Senior uses Metro Transit instead of school buses to get students to and from school. Learn more at
