• Jie Ming Mandarin Immersion Academy is on eof the top-performing elementary schools in Minnesota.
• In Jie Ming's one-way immersion program, students receive academic instruction primarily in Mandarin.
• Our school provides challenging instruction in Mandarin across all subjects, including Chinese language arts, math, writing and social studies.
• Students become fluent in Mandarine Chinese and develop skills at or beyond standards set for English-only programs.
• Kindergarten to second grade students are taught predominantly in Mandarin. Students in grades 3-5 receive most of their instruction in Mandarin with 70 minutes of English language arts instruction daily.
