• Crossroads is the only year-round school in the district, with a 45 days on, 15 days off schedule.
• Montessori education encourages childrent to learn through their natural curiosity about the world.
• We offer a Montessori curriculum with an emphasis on visual arts, physical education, health/wellness, science, engineering and technology.
• Students solve problems, design solutions, and meet challenges through robotics, 3D printing, coding, and hands-on building in the engineering lab.
• Multi-age classrooms provide opportunities for students to learn from each other and benefit from the consistency of staying with the same teacher for two to three years.
• We partner with a Playworks coach once a week throughout the school year. Playworks helps schools make the most of recess through on-site staffing, consultative support, professional development, free resources and more.
• We offer Science from Scientists in grades 4-5. A scientist comes into the school every other week throughout the school year and works with our students and staff to do hands on STEM problem solving activities and experiments.
