• Hmong Language and Culture Middle School opened in Fall 2022 and welcomed students in 6th grade.
• Our school will add a new grade of students each year until we have a full school with grades 6-8. For fall 2023-24, the school will enroll 6th and 7th grade students.
• Hmong Language and Culture Middle School serves as the upper campus to teh Phalen Lake Hmong Studies Magnet program.
• Our school mission is a school of excellence focusing on Hmong identity through language reclamation and culture preservation.
• Our school vision is to honor, sustain, and expand the Hmong Language and Culture for SPPS students.
• Our unique location, next to Penny Park and an urban forest, provides further opportunities for natural habitat exploration. We are proud of our community partners who have landscaped our front entry, updated our courtyard, and helped create outdoor classroom spaces.
